Fertility struggles and reproductive loss can be some of the loneliest experiences to talk about. There’s the medical stress and the waiting, the decisions that never seem to end, and a kind of hope that can feel both necessary and exhausting. There may be grief, anger, envy, guilt, or a sense that your own body has become unfamiliar. All of it is understandable, and none of it has to be carried alone.

What this support can hold
Reproductive mental health isn’t one experience, and it’s not a single kind of loss. Support here can make room for:
- the stress and decision fatigue of fertility treatment
- infertility and the grief of a future that isn’t unfolding as hoped
- miscarriage, and termination for medical reasons (TFMR)
- pregnancy and infant loss
- ambiguous grief: the losses that are hard to name or that others don’t recognize
You don’t have to know which category you’re in. You’re welcome as you are.
When it’s affecting your relationship, too
Reproductive stress and loss can pull partners in different directions: grieving differently, coping differently, unsure how to reach each other. If that’s part of what’s happening, couples therapy can help you grieve and make decisions together rather than alone.
Ashley’s approach
Ashley meets grief without rushing it or trying to fix it, and without treating persistence as a moral test. Therapy here is spacious and led by you: your pace, your language, your decisions.
